What is a health coach?
A Health Coach is a mentor who works with clients to achieve their wellness goals. By addressing all the facets of health in addition to eating - relationships, exercise, career, and spirituality - Health Coaches help people become healthier and happier in all areas of their lives. Why do I need a Health Coach?
I show women and men with digestive issues how to eliminate trigger foods, returning balance to their digestive system resulting in dramatic weight loss, increased energy and increased self confidence. As someone who has been in your shoes, I have a realistic sense of the effort it takes to heal yourself. Through my own trial and error I can help you achieve success in whichever area of health you would like to improve.
You're not a Registered Dietitian (R.D) so why should I trust you?
I did a lot of research on the best educational path to be able to help people in the same way I have healed myself. Healing the body as a whole, by working with my triggers is the way I have been able to come off every single pharmaceutical, feel better, lose weight and have more energy and self confidence. I have over 10 years of experience in Pharmaceutical sales and after much consideration, the traditional R.D. route taught the path that made my situation worse, not better. While I cannot diagnose or treat any disease state, I am able to take away the traditional 'count your carbs' or 'you need X grams of protein/day' and work in a more holistic state. I selected the Institute for Integrative Nutrition which focused on over 100 different dietary theories, and was taught by countless thought leaders in the nutritional field. I am incredibly excited to share my approach of holistic healing to give you the most effective chances of helping yourself.
How does this all work?
By eating whole, real foods and finding the foods ( and body products) that don’t agree with your body, together we are able to find your personal triggers. When those have been identified, we can work together on meal suggestions, what to eat dining out, and how healing your gut will change your personal and social relationships.
